Abstract
"Design for Hanging" is an experimental design project inspired by considering the way in which people store and deal with their clothes in daily life. Starting with this thought, the goal of the project is to develop products or solutions that will help people to complete clothes-related daily life tasks.
The project began with a series of investigations into different groups of people's living scenario and related businesses and industries. Having determined the difficulties and problematic issues related to storing and caring for clothing, it was possible to find some product opportunities that could either resolve the problem or create a better experience. Based on these opportunities, some new products were designed and developed that could directly or indirectly resolve the problem and help people to complete the task.
