Abstract
The purpose of this project was to investigate the issue of the lack of access of RAE women in Kosovo to antenatal health care services. The study which included 30 research participants from RAE community in Fushe Kosova and Prizren and interviews with Ministry of Helath, two NGOs, and a gynecologist from Universal Clinical Center in Kosovo, has examined the reasons of the problem and the work done so far by relevant stakeholders regarding the lack of access to antenatal health care among RAE women. Some of the main findings suggest that the factors that cause this problem are multiple and interlinked. These factors include lack of awareness regarding the importance of health, socioeconomic and spatial constraints.
