Abstract
Concavity is a major concern of manufacturers in every region. Concavity occurs as a process of die cutting foam. During die cutting, hydraulic pressure is applied. The compression from die causes concavity in foam sheets. The experiment was conducted using eight different dies and 2different materials polyethylene and polyurethane with 2 different densities and 2 different thicknesses. The experiment will evaluate the factors contributing toward the concavity.
