Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to make a series of heavy paintings on the concept of limited space using oil on canvas. The concept of "limited space" can be best illustrated in a series of rooms. I intend to accompany these with a poetic diary which will describe my techniques and will present the ideas which I included in the painting such as reflection in color. The "diary" will not be chronological, but related in the order of ideas. I will present the ideas which I have incorporated into the painting of the room especially those regarding how I use space, depth and color.
