Abstract
The curriculum contains unit plans for teaching African American Studies, Civil Rights Movement: Voting Rights to middle school students, bi-weekly, for eight weeks, eighty minutes per period. The unit plans have been designed based on the New York State guidelines for teaching Social Studies.
