Abstract
We investigate the periodic character and the boundedness nature of positive solutions of the difference equation: xn+1=max{An/xn,Bn/xn−2},n=0,1,..., where {An}∞n=0 and {Bn}∞n=0 are periodic sequences of positive real numbers.
