Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to sublimate the primitive images of nature. These images are based on my observation of nature's aesthetic value. I have developed an intimate relationship with nature, particularly with the tree. I have explored a variety of tree shapes as well as expressed their inherent liveliness. The outdoor sculptural pieces which make up the series "Dream Tree" are evidence of the connection between human lives and trees.
