Abstract
With the increasing demand for advanced analytics in health care, the digital health department at PwC needs to have an automated process for automating and quantifying the current state of the client on a performance management level in a more effective and quantitative manner in order to generate for the client a common type of deliverables which are usually (KPIs and initiatives). The following research was done and evolved for the purpose of providing a quantitative, smart and analytical solution for current state assessment phase of a project engagement, which is a commonly required phase in most of the management consulting projects. In this project, we have developed a 3 phased solution that depends on data analytics, Knowledge Based System (KBS) and providing visualization for the final output which is usually required by the client as a deliverable. Moreover, the goal of the project is to specifically measure the performance of the clients’ supply chain with regards to Inventory Management, Logistics Management Information System (LMIS) and Customer response based on the available data that the client had in order to generate the right KPIs and initiatives for them to have an automated and an efficient monitoring of their performance with regards to this matter and provide a useful visualization tool to the client’s High Management. The approach taken to solve this problem technically was through creating an automated modeling tool to help the client to reduce the time needed to analyse their data and provide useful insight through the usage of Alteryx and PowerBI for the purpose of capturing relative inputs and data to apply the right Knowledge Based System (KBS) algorithms to give us the required outputs as a dashboard. Finally, the main goal behind this project is to prove the applicability of such concept to the case described above.
