Abstract
Amorfe is an interactive multi-touch digital interface that reimagines brainstorming and collaboration using artificial intelligence (AI). Designed to make ideation more dynamic, the platform allows participants to explore, merge, and refine ideas in real time. AI is a creative catalyst, offering unpredictable outcomes and streamlining the brainstorming process. This makes Amorfe engaging, intuitive, and inclusive, encouraging active participation. The platform’s potential was demonstrated through a hypothetical scenario: “How do we create more green spaces on the RIT campus?” Four participants explored various brainstorming phases through touch interaction, leading to the creation of a prototype simulation video and a promotional video. Amorfe was developed using a comparative analysis of existing brainstorming tools. By identifying gaps in current systems, Amorfe integrated AI-driven clustering of ideas, merging concepts, and prompt generation based on user behavior, enhancing creative collaboration. The design process began with sketches and storyboards, advancing through 3D rendering experiments with Cinema 4D and After Effects. Various visual elements, including colors and typography, were iteratively refined to create a cohesive and accessible interface. A final design featuring uniform idea bubbles and a blue-violet color scheme was chosen to support clarity and interaction. Amorfe illustrates how AI can transform brainstorming into a more engaging and systematic experience. Future developments may include a fully interactive AI model, customizable environments, and expanded cross-team collaboration features. By preserving and evolving ideas, Amorfe fosters a more inclusive, creative approach to brainstorming.
