Abstract
The devastating opioid epidemic in the United States continues to wreak havoc, especially on those suffering from opioid addiction. Regrettably, the lack of reliable treatments and understanding of this disease has hindered physicians' ability to provide adequate care. As a result, those affected often feel ashamed and reluctant to seek help due to the growing stigma surrounding opioid addiction. These barriers prevent the successful treatment of this prevalent and treatable disease. To tackle this issue, Dr. Michael Peck and his team have been essential in traveling to different communities and illustrating the truth about opioids and opioid addiction. They developed a presentation aimed at educating medical professionals and the general public about opioid addiction and therapy. At the same time, they are dispelling the stigma and fostering a deeper understanding of the disease. The presentation was transformed into a fully animated video, allowing Dr. Peck and his team to share it with a broader audience through various mediums. The design was also enhanced, featuring custom illustrations, complete 3D animation, and visually engaging designs to improve audience engagement and understanding of the material.
