Abstract
This thesis explores the design and potential of HORIZONLINK, a pioneering concept for a full-windshield Head-Up Display (HUD) in fully autonomous electric vehicles (FAEVs). By transforming the vehicle's windshield into a fully interactive display controlled by eye-tracking and gestures, HORIZONLINK reimagines the in-car experience. This exploration delves into how immersive technologies, combined with intuitive control mechanisms, can enhance passenger comfort and engagement, thus proposing a new paradigm in interior design.
